The first @Hack cybersecurity event will be held in Saudi Arabia in November.
The event will be held in Riyadh from November 28th to 30th and is a collaborative effort between the Saudi Federation of Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP) and Informa Tech.
Event organizers stated that @Hack is part of a greater effort to support Saudi Arabia’s vision for 2030, and it is also SAFCSP’s goal to make one out of every 100 citizens of Saudi Arabia become a programmer and enhance Saudi Arabia’s status in the technology industry .
The event will include hands-on technical courses, focusing on broader topics such as offensive security, penetration testing techniques, infrastructure hacking, and mobile application security.
From November 23rd to 27th, a training event attended by 50 Black Hat-approved lecturers will be held a few days before the event. This series will cover 20 courses and provide tutorials for all levels of participants.
“Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing markets in Saudi Arabia, and @Hack will launch a social movement to unleash our unlimited potential and ambitions and help inspire the golden age of technology,” said SAFCSP Chairman Faisal Al Khamisi.
